My Skin Care Planner - Face Care
Do you want to preserve your skin's beauty or correct small imperfections but not sure which products to choose?
To discover the right beauty products for you, answer the following questions :
To know Your skin type
Dry :
You have a dry skin.
Dry skin is often thinner than normal skin. This can make it more susceptible to fine lines and wrinkles at an early age. Dry skin is rough, lacks suppleness and can feel taut and uncomfortable. Caused by a lack of natural oils, dry skin is under-protected, and so becomes sensitive and dehydrated when exposed to changes in temperature, humidity, harsh cleansers, or water that is too hot or too hard. To compensate, dry skin requires products which provide the oil it needs to restore this natural protective barrier. A very demanding skin type, dry skin needs added moisture to nourish and replenish. Doubling up on skin care treatments may even prove to be necessary during the winter for example.
Normal :
Your Skin is normal.
Not really dry, nor oily, normal skin is just that: normal. Normal skin is perfectly balanced, does not appear shiny, is soft and supple without any feelings of discomfort.
Combination :
You have a Combination Skin.
Combination skin is characterised by an oily tendency on the T-zone (forehead, nose and chin) due to excessive oil production by the sebaceous glands. The rest of the face is normal or dry. It is important to choose products specially adapted to these variations and sometimes even treat the T-zone separately, when using a mask for example.
Oily :
You have an Oily Skin.
Oily skin is usually thicker than other skin types, is often shiny with visible pores. Blackheads and blemishes are also common characteristics of oily skin. Higher levels of sebaceous secretions are the reason your complexion may look dull and lacklustre. Oily skin 'resists' skin ageing and sun exposure well but make-up is often short lived. When oily skin ages, fines lines and wrinkles take longer to set, however, oily skin is more prone to skin slackening. Oily skin needs to be balanced with gentle skin care products since (contrary to popular belief) oily skin often becomes sensitive due to the application of harsh, aggressive products.
